However, the Dragon Bone Smasher is a much better option for that path. However, for a Faith-based build, this weapon can be upgraded to a Blessed one that scales with Faith. The Flamberge in Demon's Souls is more historically accurate. They were very similar to Zweihanders, which literally means two handed sword. The only difference was the wavy flame like shape of the blade, though it was mostly decorative. The Flamberge in Dark Souls is a high-fantasy styled version of the blade, which looks a lot cooler IMO. It starts at +3 on some weapon types (including straight swords like the claymore) and +0 on other weapon types (such as 1-handed blunt hammers), unless that has changed in the remake for consistency's sake.
